Moved to my new house on the 22nd Oct, and got BT to give me a brand new landline number.
Called Orange, they set-up the moving house request and this is what has happened so far:
30th Oct 07 - All is fine, email received stating that it may take up to 15 working days to connect.
20th Nov 07 - No connection. Called Orange who said it will be connected on November 26th
27th Nov 07 - No connection. Called Orange who said they were awaiting feedback from BT as to why it wasn't completed. Please call back in 3 days.
30th Nov 07 - Called Orange back. Initial request they made to BT (sorry if this bit is a little sketchy, I began to tune out when the excuses started coming) was rejected for "unknown reasons" so they were submitting another request. I am now due to be connected on the 6th Dec 07. Threatened to cancel DD and contract if not up and running soon.
4th Dec 07 - Broadband is connected! YAY! Will log a speed test tonight on it.
