Hi, I have an Orange livebox, and one of the features is bluetooth. I am not able to use wi-fi as my parents are against it, but I am able to connect via bluetooth on my Palm. The problem is that my Livebox is not currently discoverable, and my Palm won't support entering raw MAC addresses. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to sort it?
The livebox is bluetooth capable but it's disabled. It was turned on in a previous update but was quickly turned off, even then it apparently wouldn't pass data, just allow connections.
AFAIK there is no available firmware to enable the bluetooth specifically. You could potentially use the french version but I don't know how open the bluetooth in on their liveboxes, it might be locked down except for specific applications, etc. Also the it might not even accept french firmware.
To be honest the it's more trouble than it's worth to try and force it to do it at this point unless you really know what you're doing.
