I'm now into my third wee without Orange BB - and absolute disgrace. Imagine my joy on Saturday when I woke up to a solid @ light on the livebox- that only lasted 2 hours and now I have to wait another 5 days while the problem is escalated. They now say that my user name is not being identified by the server.
I've had all the usual 'sorry for your inconvenience' 'I understand you are upset' Do they hell!!! I am sick of being told wait 24, 48 or 5 days- they promise me calls from engineers whicg never happen
I had a disconnection for a solid 2 weeks last year with Orange.
I got sick of their usual 'line fault, we will do a test' lies and moved away from them.
In over a year with Idnet I have never had a disconnection once and get a stable, fast connection always.
The only way to sort things is to leave these jokers I'm afraid.

yep - i get a different story every day- thier latest wind up is telling me engineers will text me- i have to ring every day to check for updates - nd they always ask about the state of the @ light- they have untill the end of this week and I'm off
the system they use now for faults allows an automated text message to be sent to customers in regard to what the status of the line test is showing at. if you havent received a text message then i'm presuming the line test is still being carried out and at the moment there is still no update

I truly sympathise with you as we also had no connection for over 2 weeks recently and also kept getting feeble excuses all the time. In the end I got to speak to a very decent guy called Peter Sykes in the Escalations Dept who sorted out the problem and gave us 6 months free internet as well as refunding our dial up charges with another ISP (near on £100) whilst we were unable to connect to Broadband . Our speed is still at a pathetic 512 but he's looking into that too. I would fax this guy direct asap (01642 732728).

well the nightmare seems to be over - Braodband came back Wednesday morning - strange why I didn't have to validate my password/ factory reset-fingers crossed that it stays on .
