Just wonder how the Orange free broadband offer was going...
I signed up on 2nd June and my new phone has arrived this morning.
Just waiting for my broadband.
Perhaps you are in a similar position and want to keep us up to date with your progress? I would be interested.
I orderd my phone on saturday and I got an email saying that my details have been processed and I should recieve my phone within the next 2 days. I will let you all know how it goes. There shouldnt be any problems as I am already on the Orange broadband plus and it is just a matter of them not billing me each month. So I shouldnt have any connection issues*touch wood*.
oh ok! I am getting excited as i have moved into my first flat and havent had broadband before. I am praying that it all goes smoothly!
I had upgraded my tarif and ordered free broadband on Friday 2nd June. My new phone arrived this morning.
I have however had no emails or any other communication about my broadband .... we will see.
I have been phoning Orange many times over the month to find out what is happening with my broadband order. I was told it would happen within 20 days, then 28 days then i was told i would have it on the 2nd July.
On monday 26th June i finally demanded to know what was going on. I wanted a supervisor to sort it out. Every time i phoned up i was told that my account had not yet been set up! The supervisor explained that my broadband had never been ordered! How angry was i? You can imagine! Anyway, they ordered it there and then! They offered me £30 off my next Orange mobile bill as an apology.
Today, my broadband line is finally working!!!!
I have not received a Livebox and i had to ring up Orange (again) to get my username and password as i had not received that in the post yet! But i have found a random modem in the cupboard and logged on nicely with my username and password!!!
In summary, Orange Customer Services seem to have absolutely no clue as to what is going on with your account when you phone them! Its absolutely ridiculous!
But, i have my broadband now so am very happy about that
