Basically, the internet works all throughout the day until 12am (midnight), when it suddenly goes off and won't reconnect again (until sometime the next morning).
When it disconnects, the Livebox profile disappears from the wireless connetion manager thing. Other profiles are still there, but they don't work.
When it disconnects it starts assigning me the wrong IP adress (instead of the 192. one it gives me some 169. something adress which doesn't work.
I've seen various reports of disconnects at exactly the same times each day/night, the times vary but on the dot it disconnects.
Solutions suggested have been to change channels; ensure no mobile phones are near the router; ensure no AC/DC power supply units are near the router (eg. phone chargers); identify radio interference within 300kHz to 1800kHz (medium wave).
You'll need to experiment with channels. Make a note of the current channel and start with +1 on the current setting, try connection etc etc.
It's known that overhead telephone lines act as a massive aerial. Given the right conditions, these can pick up radio transmissions within those frequencies. So if you have a lot of overhead cables near your house then this could create interference causing the disconnection.

Unlikely to, with securtity it usually works all the time or not rather than being intermittant.

And what channels are the best ones generally, it's on 1 now, maybe 11?
There is no best channel for everyone, it varys depending on what signals/interference is in your area. Just try them at random and see if it works any better, if not try another.
