Not sure if I am explaining this properly. My daughter who has the Orange 2 mgb package recently downloaded Nortons 2008 package instead of renewing her original Nortons antivirus/firewall. It went reasonably well until she had problems connecting to the internet. She sorted that (more luck than judgement) but now only she can connect on her sign in on the computer, no one else (3 others) in the family can get online by signing in on their log in names. Can anyone tell me if it's because she has to configure Nortons please and if so... how would she do it?

You probably need to reconfigure Norton..I never use it its a pain in the backside

Daughter has windows xp home edition and can only describe the log on is where different peeps can have their own desktop (I don't use it as mine comes up automatically). They can all log on to their desktops but only my daughter can connect to the internet on hers via broadband. I don't know if this explains it... sorry I'm not good at all this stuff.
Agree Steve Norton's is a pain in the proverbial, but us techless s*ds don't really have a choice, we go for the easy AND COSTLY things rather than fiddle and f*rt about with others.
