Am getting an increasing amount of Spam. Am using Mailwasher as a filter and that helps but it does take time. Wanted to change my email address so contacted Orange. They tell me that I can easily chage the bit before @ but that means that the spam will still sit in the old address. They say that I can't change the bit after the @ without taking out a new contract and that it will have to be on a different telephone line.

Is this right?
Yes it is.......why not create a googlemail account ?
When I was plagued, I reported spam to the ISPs' "abuse" email addresses, it's a pain to do but it works. You need to copy the source details to them. Spam stopped within 2 weeks and I've not had any since.

Thanks both of you. Looks like Orange are going to lose an account. Problem is I'm also into them for broadband as well, which is also a load of rubbish. So I have to work out the cheapest and best way to do get out of both of them.
