I understand that the livebox should have 3 solid lights and 1 that varies when the internet is in use. This is all good until for some reason I get only the top and bottom light flashing on and off for ages. This will go on for about 10 mins then it will be connected to the internet again. Then it will disconnect AGAIN. This pattern goes on for up to 2 hours some times and it's so annoying!!
Does anyone else experience the same problem?
I cant find any information regarding this. I've been told that it's because of an update... but come on what kind of update disconnects you for up to 2 hours almost every day!?
Normally you should have the @ light and wireless antenna light on solid. (Phone light too when that's been activated)
You mentioned there are 2 lights flashing when you lose connection, were they the @ light and antenna light?
If so it sounds like the box is restarting rather than just losing the connection as the antenna light should remain solid, once it stops flashing after the first 10 minutes. It should only start flashing again if you press the 1 button or restart the box normally.
You could try going through the recovery options installed by the CD or calling Orange about it if that's the case.
