last week i got myself a lovely xbox 360 with halo 3, first few days it played fine, no lag, had a good time and no problems, i dont even believe i had NAT problems but im unsure. but for the past few days or so the speed has been hurrendous, i mean, i get home from work, wanting to chill out on halo and im met with games not connecting, severe lag, been kicked out of games etc. and to be honest, im not very happy. im no stranger to crap speeds from Orange, i have been with them since they were freeserve and we had absolutely no problems, then through to wanadoo i was fine and now since Orange took over its just become unbearable at times. the speed is slightly better than it used to be, but its just so slow
does anyone have any tips for making life easier for me on xbox live? i have done the portforwarding that microsoft advise on their website, and only time will tell with that, it does seem improved.
this service Orange are providing is pathetic. i once rung up to complain, but i knew more about it than the person on the other end, they tried to fob me off saying it was a modem problem, when it isnt, the linksys wag54g was fine before Orange got themselves involved.
its a crap service and quite frankly, theyre taking the f**** p**s.
