how do you get Orange to fix a faulty home phone ?
I have phoned their tech help in India every weekend for 5 weeks to complain my home phone via the livebox will only receive calls but wont call out.
All i get is stock set of tests to complete via a check list they work from and when this does not fix it the will"escilate" the complaint to the next level.
only trouble is nobody seems to pay any attention to this escillation.
Any one know how you get hold of someone high up that will actually fix something?

if its home phone as in the LANDLIND what used to be BT or BT compatible then you DO NOT ring tech support, there is a dedicated Home phone team based in Belfast. 0870 010 2462 and listen for the home phone option.
If it is a Talk service/second line issue then ring tech, they will do (or try to lol) diagnostics. If they are unable to help then they will escalate issue or you ask for it to be escalated.
Usually takes 5 working/business days for talk issue to be resolved, however it may take longer, i know people that have had the second line/talk service working 3 weeks (15 working days ) after the issue was originally escalated.
So resolution time is between 5-15 working days, i would say ring every 5 days if you escalate an issue asking for an update.
I have the same problem as adwb where my home phone only recieves calls and it has a broken dailtone like BT answer???
Tried india etc. had to unscrew my phone socket no joy waiting now for engineers to come at my expence??
does anyone know any direct numbers like bts 150 ??
