Does anyone know what happened with this number???
I am experiencing PPP server down on a weekly basis.
I used to call them on that number and they used to re-establish my connection within a few hours. Now this number is unavailable and I had to call India, they are obviously not doing anything. They start with a line check that takes 24 hours!!!
Does anyone know how can I contact Orange Team directly ( the one in UK not India)?

That's India Crying or Very sad

They are doing line check at the moment. Tomorrow they are gonna be doing advanced line check, which doesnt resolve the issue

It's a lottery, depending on time of day, as to who you get. You can always ask to be put through to UK.

But I am also considering switching to a different ISP.

Now this is a problem because since May this year I've had very few problems with Orange....I'm connected at 5800+, I have few disconnections etc etc so because of this I could recommend Orange....although I don't because I see the range of troubles that people are still having and which I had from October 2006 to May 2007.

You can look at any ISP forum and see a range of similar problems.

You really need to research ISP performance and make a choice from that information.

Hi Tom
If you go Here you can see the ratings how long the contracts are and comments from their customers and will give you some idea who to avoid lol i agree with nhyder it pays to do a bit of research on them before committing Wink

If you mean the Customer Action Team then they no longer exist so the number probably just diverts back into the normal phone system.
