I've been trying to activate my second line, but the automated phone line won't recognise my area code.
Most of the Orange website's help pages have myseriously disappeared tonight, but those that are there tell me to phone 0800 975 0585 and key in my home phone number.
When I type in my STD code - 01603 - it reads it back to me as 01600. I've tried it on Three different phones on Three different lines (two landlines, one mobile) but no joy, and two of the phones I've used have displays so I know I'm typing in the right number.
I've also tried random numbers, and there bizarrely seems to be a general problem recognising a 3 after a 0.
Other than enduring call centre hell does anyone know of an alternative way of activating the second line / VOIP?
Orange have already managed to send me two Liveboxes to an address I haven't lived at for two years, so if I do have to phone I'll probably end up being very rude...
