Connection Stength Excellent through Wireless But....

I can't surf the web, or I can for about 2 mins before explorer or firefox says the page cannot be displayed. This is really p*****g me off, Can somebody give me a step by step guide to sorting this problemn out.

I'm using a Linksys adapter which connects to my live box fine with 75% connection stength...

Orange's DNS seems to be broken again - I'm also having terrible problems resolving some sites, such as the BBC one with the normal Orange DNS server

Try switching to OpenDNS. - http://www.opendns.com/

When this happens can you still access 192.168.1.1? If so then it could be a DNS problem as JQW said.

Normally if it is DNS then there are quite a few reporting the same problem.

I've been getting DNS problems today. I'd had to reset my router a few weeks ago and neglected to add OpenDNS's servers to it's DHCP server. Today I lost access to various sites, including some of the BBC's servers and one of the Debian FTP mirrors.

Reverting back to OpenDNS resolved everything.
