What this web site needs is a lie detecter since i work for Orange i know theres faults
But some of the forum entries are full of spam holey chesse and mindless jibber jabber
Everyone I've spoken to so far has been very helpful and polite, and after all it's ultimatly not their fault why problems occur, it's the people who develope the systems and put them in place.
I agree everyone is polite, however it took 4 months to get a new Livebox to get my Talk service back, as I work abroad a lot I could only chase every second week, only to be told the same "I'll escalate the problem".. very frustrating, eventually spoke to Peter K.. who was as helpful as he could be and arranged for a new Livebox to be sent. 2 weeks after receiving it the talk facility was reinstated. I now cant get the laptop to connect, it wont recognise the WEP number,(cut and pasted from main computer) and tells me the firewall may be connected..(it not) I suspect it may be a Vista problem but I'm getting bored with spending time trying to sort out computer problems.
Orange management need to look at how the problems are resolved, 4 months and lots of calls is not the way forward!
I've got an issue with my broadband. I get PPP server down on a weekly basis.
I used to call the number 08450702976 and actions were taken straight away.
It used to take them a few hours to re-establish connection. I got PPP server down yesterday, I called the number and it's no longer valid!! This means i need to call India and have this pointless conversation and wait for a line check result because I did have one this month. Is there a way to call Tech centre in UK directly without dealing with India?? They are just wasting my time!!
I'll answer C for you off the bat. The landline service is a wholesale product provided and maintained by BT. Orange oversee the billing and set prices etc.
