As I was having PPP server down, I switched to a different router and used PPPOE. Recently the connection became quite unstable (it resets about 10-15 times per hour) so decided to try Livebox again.
To my surprise, instead of getting PPP server down, I got invalid ADSL auth. I get the same when I use PPPOA on my DLINK. Only PPPOE seems to be able to connect - though I'm using the same username and password in all 3 cases.
Any idea what can that be? I don't want to call Orange, so far any time I reported a problem to them they only made things worse (i.e. fixed one thing, but broke another - or just simply did nothing at all and asked to wait).
