I have recently switched to Orange Broadband Max which includes the cost of your normal ex BT landline. Since this switch, about 7 days ago, we have been unable to receive incomming calls on our normal landline. The livebox line still works OK and we have not changed anything at our end. Any ideas? I have done the usual, such as remove all filters and have only a normal phone plugged into the landline socket - but still nothing. If you phone from a mobile you get the message "connection error" and a dead line. Why would this be - have spoken with Orange for hours about this but they are useless - been promised 2 call backs by people who should be able to help me - but so far no calls received. Anyone else had this problem??
If you have a BT linebox with a removable lower frontplate, unscrew this and pull off the lower half. Plug your original phone into the socket inside the box and call the number.

Does anybody have a phone no for Orange landline faults, I have raised blood pressure and dealing with the idiots in Dehli is causing me problems? The line is dead for all calls in and out but the broadband still works at a reduced level 3.5 and there is no dial tone. Any ideas anyone?
