I have two friends who repeatedly have emails to me bounce back. One uses Gmail and the other sends from Canada, I did have lots of emails that repeated did not get through but as far as I know all but these two now get through to me first time. I did find this message a while ago
We would like to inform you that we have known server issues at this
moment with regards to sending/receiving emails with webmail servers
like yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc. This is something that is currently
under investigation but, unfortunately, we have no estimated time/date
of resolution at this moment.
and I wonder if anyone knows if there is any further information.
Whenever emails are bounced the returned message should give more information or a reason why it happened, without that it could be anything that caused it.
Stupid of me not to post the failure notice, I only have one from the Canada.

I note it says message content, noting odd in it that I can find no words that could warrant none delivery.

If your messages are perfectly innocent, it sounds like Orange's mailservers are on Yahoo's blacklist/spamlist to me.
I think you're the wrong way around; the problem (if I've understood correctly) is with mail from Gmail (etc) being bounced by Orange. Orange's mailservers are regularly on spam blacklists, but this wouldn't cause the problem being experienced here.
FWIW, I get the same problem with Gmail. I exchange email regularly with a colleague, who persists in using Orange. Most seems to get through, but some doesn't. I get precisely the same bounce message as the OP. Recently the only message to be rejected has had an attachment, so this could be part of the reason, possibly.
Generally AFAIK it does mean the actual message or attachments were rejected for some reason. Either bad attachment type or the message itself was flagged as spam.

Yes, I'm sure. Unfortunately, like so much of Orange's email provision, it appears to be broken! Messages with identical content and attachments (re)sent using my academic email address get through reliably.
The unreliability of Orange's email service was the main reason I switched to Gmail a few years ago. The other reason was the enormous amount of spam Orange accounts seem somehow to attract; I still monitor my Orange account because it's the address my Orange broadband account details are sent to, but I now receive 250 messages per day which seem not to be bounced or, in many cases, even detected as spam...I have to filter them using Mailwasher.
I'd certainly recommend anyone still using Orange to consider Gmail, which works well with email clients and has the best webmail interface in my opinion (certainly I don't think many would deny that it eclipses Orange's efforts).
Content and attachment should not be a problem, the failure notice I posted had no attachment and when resent it came through first time - there does not seem to be a pattern. Last evening I had 3 emails from the same addy and each one came through first time.
I have thought about using Gmail myself BUT I am really unclear about how it works and have felt a bit thick about asking - but here goes
If you open and read mail via Gmail, is it still on Gmail's server or is it at that time on your PC. If it is on Gmail's server can you down load it after reading, I have about 300 emails a day and I need to keep the majority. Do you have to change your email addy? I have heard you have to be invited to use Gmail, is that true?
I know this sounds basic but I really do not know how it works.

Gmail can be had by anyone.....no invite needed (used to be but not now).
Set it up to download automatically into Outlook etc then you have no need to sign onto Gmail server.

If you open a GMail account u will need to go into the settings to activate it for POP their is also a nifty small application in their to download and it will configure whatever email client u use on ur pc to make it easier all you will have to do is put in your GMail password.

I have a friend in Uk using wanna do servers. Or Orange broadband. Sometimes she never gets my emails. Then I have to go to my Yahoo account
and resend them through there. It says, server is rejecting my email. I
don't use terms in subject matter that look like spam. I thought it was my
alltel/windstream account that was the problem. But now after copying and
posting my error code it sent me straight to your forum. What can I do
about this. When my friend had a different internet connection in the UK
we never had these problems.
I am really getting quite mad. Because sometimes I do not even get the notice
that the email was bounced back. So, then I wonder why she is not emailing me only to get an email from her that makes no mention of any of my former
emails.
I can see this is an ongoing problem. I am going to ask her to get a Yahoo
account and we can send and receive from there. I seem to have no
problem using my online yahoo account. Which makes no sense at all.
Thanks everyone for letting me Rant.
I certainly hope Orange is not blocking Yahoo emails as that was the only
one that I could send to my friend in England.
We finally got our emails caught up. But she had deleted some of her sent
mail so could not resend it to me. Other people have told her that she was not receiving their emails. Why ever would she stay with an internet
provider which has such problems. Getting emails is important. Why
ever have an account if your emails are being blocked.
Here all this time she had wondered why she had not heard from me,
and I had wondered the same about her. It is very maddening. They
must have other internet servers in England that are reliable.
