Does anybody know if I can use any wireless adapter with the Orange livebox or do I have to get one from Orange?

Any 802.11g wireless adapter should work fine, 99%+ of them these days work with that. Most people prefer ones that just let windows manage the connection and Orange will usually try and help if you have problems connecting with it.
