considering signing up to Orange broadband, £5 a month doesnt sound too bad, livebox and VOIP all sound like a good deal
but these complaints are breathtaking!
makes me very apprehensive to sign up to them, so i wanted to know...is anyone actually happy with their Orange broandband? or should i go with Sky, for £10 more?
I signed upto this service and have not looked back ever since. I have even piggy-backed my previous Belkin router to the Livebox router and both work just fine.
Occasional reboots are required when firmware updates are received.
The VOIP is also working fine although it took several weeks of constant phone calls to slightly less then useful call centre people to get it enabled. Other than that I can't complain.
Currently can connect upto 4 laptops, one XBOX 360 and Wii through it without any hassles.
pretty reasonable service - 2MB speeds for £9.99 a month (no phone contract)
I would like the 4MB+ I had before I was LLU'd (for the same price) though
Needless to say I will be leaving though when my contract is up. Calling tech support on an 0870 number for something that is not in their scripts is a nightmare and I'd rather pay extra for faster speeds, with UK based call centres - or at least people who know what they are talking about
Sorry I did actually use the 0845 number for them, but it was still a nightmare, although at times comical when they said they would send new telephone leads when I refused a replacement livebox
