Well after the LLU exchange I had no internet for nearly a month. After daily calls to tech support (no use) and numerous line checks (i don't think they exist) i said i would cancel as i wasn't happy,
An arrogant man said I had no chance - he said it would be near £300 for me to cancel.
So I asked the man for a complaints number - which nobody else seemed to know, and eventually I spoke to a great guy, who said the problems would get solved within a week.
No luck, so after another week I asked if I could cancel. So he said I could for free, so I did, he gave me a MAC code over the phone aswell. Not only that I am getting all my money back for the months I have been with Orange, and I am being reimbursed £70 for all the useless phone calls to tech support.
There are some brilliant broadband providers and some that are maybe not quite so brilliant. I would suggest having got your MAC from Orange that you pause and take a deep breath before signing up to a new provider. Take time to check out the various providers. You know that you are free of Agent Orange so you don't have to rush things.
