My main computer is connected via Ethernet cable to livebox. My daughter's computer has a Belkin device fitted and we have had no problem with her connecting to the internet, until today. The message is coming up that there is limited or no connectivity, and when I run the repair it says that there is no IP address. I do not know what to do next.
Where do I go to find this out please? On my computer (the main one connected to the live box) the status is connected. On the other computer the status is limited.
Sorry I didn't realise your main computer was online. The unable to get an IP address could suggest your router is not online
The only thing I could suggest is going to http://192.168.1.1 on the hardwired PC, login with admin / admin and change the channel number for the wireless
1) put the Livebox in pairing mode (press button 1) and then try repair again
2) same as above but instead of repair disable and the enable the adapter
3) power the livebox off and back on again
4) try re-entering the WEP key from the bottom of the livebox (all in CAPS, no space, letters A-F numbers 0-9) again put in pairing mode before trying to connect.
5) reset the livebox (instructions can be found on the Orange home page
