Only recently we have given the good news to members about Be value/Be
lite and I did promise good news to our Unlimited and Pro members.
So from 10th October Be will be lower prices for all existing Be unlimited
and Be pro members. These prices will be available to all new Be
members as well so there is no better time to recommend Be Broadband
to your friends. (sorry can not let you know the prices just yet couple of
days to wait)
Also our Home members will also get the option of either a static/dynamic
IP at no extra cost from the same date as the price drop.
We are now finalising the details of the pricing drop and will send an email
to all members on Wednesday 10th October showing how much you will
save each month!
Im currently in the process of signing up with Be (for the Unlimited package).
Will I benefit with cheaper payments from this?
I can't see why not. I think there are only a handful of ISP's who wouldn't do this, or give you free speed upgrades without signing up to a new contract
They supposed to be running it seperately from Be but using the same network but from what ive read no they wont be going down the same route as Orange and Carphone Warehouse but from what ive read all looks positive we shall see.
Be are announcing a price reduction tonight on the Be Unlimited package with effect from tomorrow which will be interesting to see how much.

New Be prices confirmed
Be Unlimited 24meg down/1.3meg up, now with an optional static IP was £24 now £18
Be Pro 24meg down/2.5meg up, with static IP was £40 now £22
with effect from today.

Be unlimited £18 per month
Be unlimited is one of the fastest broadband products available in the UK.
Until the 10th Oct the price was £24 per month for the up to 24 Mbps
downstream and up to 1.3 upstream speeds but we have now reduced it to
£18 per month. Be unlimited is also a completely uncapped service so
members can surf as much as they like and members also have the option
of either dynamic or static IP address at no extra cost.
Be pro £22 per month
Be pro has come down in price from £40 a month to just £22. Designed for
SME's and power users, Be pro offers the fastest upstream and
downstream speeds in the UK. Using Upload Plus Be pro members have
access to up to 2.5 meg up stream using the Annex M standard.
Reduction in the Express Cancellation Charge
In line with these price changes we have reduce the cost of an Express
Cancellation for Be unlimited and Be pro members to £40.
When will prices come into effect?
All new members will be able to buy Be unlimited and Be pro for the new
prices from 10th October.
All existing members will see the new pricing on their December invoice
with a refund to cover the period from 10th October to 30th November.
Members can upgrade to Be unlimited or Be pro at no costs. To upgrade
login to the Member Centre and open a ticket requesting your upgrade.
