After a new modem, numerous promises of a livebox and a complaint to ISPA I have finally got a broadband connection. But only due to the high level of customer support from Belkin who sent me a link to update my router within a day of contacting them. I still have no wanadoo supplied hardware that allows me to connect to the service? So perhaps there is more to the problems than Wanadoo are letting on and that the equipment they are supplying cannot take the faster speeds they are offering?
I will be now contacting Wanadoo to chase up the promised equipment and the refund for the 4 months of lost service
