I had two PCs connected to m live box for around 6 months without any problems.
I had a problem with the network connection, which turned out to be a BT line problem, before it was sorted out Wanadoo advised me to uninstall the Wanadoo set up and re-install.
I have not been able to re-install the software since, which was about 5 months ago, as I always get the error #500.
It says that the WEP code has been entered incorrectly, I have checked this many times and it's typed in OK.
The other possibility it says is that there is a firewall. I have uninstalled my one and turned the Windows one off.
I have tried various USB ports and I have changed the live box channel from 1 to 9, still it will not install.
All through this my laptop is working on W98 without an problems, my desk top is WXP SP2.
I suspect that a Windows update has changed a DLL or driver that is not compatible.
The Wanadoo CD version is 1.2.
As I have just come to the end of my initial year I am thinking of changing my provider.
The Wanadoo helpdesk has been very unhelpful so I think this is my last chance to find an answer.
Any suggestions would be ver gratefully received.
