Well we are saying adios to Orange in the not so distant future and decided to go with Be Broadband as we`ve heard some great reviews and have a few questions,

1st. Any of you lot on it and wht you think ?

2nd. Is it really that fast ?

3rd. We are 1.36km from exchange how fast you reckon that will be for us ?

Later edit: One thing I forgot to mention is that the "BeBox" router that Be supply comes with the firewall disabled with no password as default and there are technical issues accessing the router settings using IE7. So I use the Opera browser to change settings.

I'll let the techies on this forum answer your third question, although you could do worse than ask Be themselves.

Let's hope that o2 (now Sky) learn from Orange not to meddle with the excellent ISP they have purchased.

With BE since May, I'm around 1,1 km from my exchanged, connections 14.5 -17.7 MB (RICHMOND UPON THAMES)

Finaly i've escaped from Orange - took more than month with OFCOM help.

I'm 2 miles from Exchange - Stratford - have 8Mb
