We have just moved in to an old house and the Orange broadband has been working fine with the Speedtouch USB Modem. I wanted to go wireless so i bought a Belkin Wireless Router. The Router boots up and the ADSL light flashes 4 times and then goes dead, it cannopt find a connection even with all the DNS settings, Username, Password etc. put in the ADSL light does not go solid. I have taken it to a freinds house and he has PlusNet Broadband, it worked fine there, the ADSL light went solid and the internet connected. I was wondering if the this modem/router is compatible with our Orange connection or is there an issue with our phone line? Any help would be great, otherwise im going to have to switch.

Yes it will work with Orange, if your SpeedTouch modem worked fine then it might be one of your settings in the Belkin double check them all to make sure.
Btw what model Belkin is it? as i installed one for somebody a couple of months ago it wouldnt boot up sometimes and when it did and connected it wouldnt stay connected reconnected the lod router and it was fine in this case the Belkin was faulty.
