need help badly i cant get away from Orange. they say they are trying to fix the problem its now been 1 month but they keep ignoring me and my phone bill keeps going up

All Orange do is lie and rob people, inclding myself.
RIng up, get your MAC code and move to a real internet provder - Orange are not that.
Things will only get worse with them.
Earlier this year the law changed -
all ISP s have to provide you with a MAC code within five working days of you requesting it regardless of wheteher you're in a contract or not.
RIng them, demand it and tell them that you'll report them to OFCOM if they don't give you it.
They cannot hold you at all.
Are you on an ADSL Max connection or LLU connection?
LLU will give upload speeds upto 288kbps, ADSL Max upto 448kbps.
ADSL Max connections are only rarely capped and usually due done by the BT engineers due to a fault. LLU connections are usually capped to some degree, generally if you always sync at a set speed then that'll be the cap.

i tried this, and they said i would have to pay the remaining balance of my contract (£120ish) if i use the MAC code.
