Sorry cant find any posts on how to do this, but i want to stick my netgear router down as the main router and then use the Livebox wirelessly piggy backed onto the netgear for VOIP calls, can this be done and what woud my PC/360/Laptop end up connecting too? Oh and also use the Livebox as a printserver.
Don't ask much do I!! Would I loose much in the way of connection speed doing this, the routers would be above each other on different floors in a fairly new house, so not a huge amount of thick walls/floors to get through.
TIA
Swiss.
BTW from my other thread, Orange have decided to stick my connection on as a Interleave since all my problems of disconnection, and since then I've has no connections problems and the line speed has been very stable, so thumbs up to Orange they got there in the end.

I use a Netgear as the main hub but I don't think you could connect it wirelessly to the Livebox although you might be able to do it using peer-to-peer mode. Personally, I use an ethernet cable.
You need to disable DHCP on the Livebox.
Make sure the Netgear's IP address is in the same range as the Livebox i.e. 192.168.1.100 (you can change the 100 if you want).
In order to tell the PCs on your network that the Livebox is the gateway to the Internet you will need to set the TCP/IP properties manually (rather than using DHCP). Therefore set the default gateway to 192.168.1.1 and you will need to enter Orange's DNS server IP addresses as well.
I rushed this answer through off the top of my head so please ask away if it is not clear.
