im leaving Orange and should be online with ADSL24 in about a week.
Will i be able to use my livebox as a temporary modem for my new service.
I will be buying one myself but would rather wait a coule of weeks. Will any ADSL modem work. There's loads on ebay. Something like the BT Voyager modems, would they be ok??
The livebox is locked to Orange and they request it back when you leave. It's possible to unlock but can be complicated so you'd be better off just getting another router straight away. Any ADSL Modem/router should work, though I've heard of a couple of BT models being locked to them, most aren't, as well so best make sure by checking before you buy.
