I have been trying to change from wired with a speedtouch to wireless
with a livebox, on and off for over 12 months now - I've had all the kit but just could'nt install it - tonight I thought I would have another go. Using an Orange Livebox, I plugged it in, installed the software for my Netgear WG111v2 wireless adaptor, and got asignal ! Hurrah - I even managed to access the interenet but the only site I could acccess was the Open University. Any other sites that I click on come up with the message

Am I close ?
Can anyone help me I'm so close now !!!

The access control list part suggests there's something on the PC blocking the connection.
Do you have any security/parental contol software running and have you tried disabling it?
Within Internet Options on the Content tab is Content Advisor disabled, if not turn it off and see what happens.

Thanks for that, but checking the content advisor, I have no restrictions, and there is no security or parental software on the computer.
I've gone on again, and the only site that will open up is the OU.
I cannot access google, yahoo, bbc or ebay. How strange !
