First of all I never knew my line was being upgraded! When I first rang the 0870 number I was passed around the houses several times by a call centre in India who to be honest are not very helpful at all, they all seem to repeat themselves?!
My Internet connetion has not worked since they're attempted "upgrade" on June 8th. After about 15 line tests and no results I am losing my patience fast!!! (GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!)
Why should we be bloody paying for something that we're not getting??!!

I was to contact the sdt dept to "push the line through"? The call centre in India or whereever have never heard of them.....
Depending on what the actual problem is it may not be something they can deal with though.
I rang again last night and Micheal in Middlesborough (0870 helpdesk at 10pm last night told me to ring back 0870 this morning and ask to be put through to the fsd team???!! I rang this morning - got through to India again who tried to take me through another line test

Now that was a fob off! They are a specialist internal team who don't take calls. Think of them as system admin people who fiddle with things in the background.
I sense a change of attitude at Orange. Ask for a waiver on your BB and get them to set you up with a free dial up account untilthey resolve the issue. I have no doubt the fault lies with them
