Okay i have been with Wanadoo for the last 3 yrs, when i was upgraded for free to a 2mb connection i started to get drops every now and then but wasn't a great deal (once a month). Now since Orange have taken over i have lost my connection badly.
Saturday i thought my dl's were very slow and then i kept getting dropped connections, been on the phone and always get a indian person which doesn't really understand me clearly, tried all that they said (yawn) still no joy, then they said they would get BT to carry out a line check and to ring them back in a hour or so. Rang back and was told the line had a fault and should be okay by the morning, sunday morning still no joy, got told to do the same checks as before which i explained i had already carried out.
Today monday still problems and this time was told BT said it must be my equipment??? anyway i have disconnected the phones in the house and from the master socket just a filter and then the computer, i get a more stable connection but the speeds still aren't there (60k dl max) usually this was between 150-220k. Really don't know what to do, if i ring again i just get told the same old stuff again, i want to leave but if there is really a line problem changing providers isn't going to solve anything.
Now really doing my head in, just seems since Orange took over i got this problem.
