We currently had the option to upgrade our "2mb" to the up to "8mb" which i might add was supposed to have been that from the start, Anyhow we upgraded and waited a while then we rang Orange for a status report to see how the migration on to LLU was going and we was informed that it had been rejected so they rang some place to see why and they couldnt get through and told us to ring back the followng day, Twice now this has happened, As this happened to you ? any one know what to do if it comes back rejected and what can be done ? and who you can contact besides BT and Orange as they know nothing, And did you get it sorted ?
I've never heard of Orange passing up the chance of charging a customer more to give them a "worse" service !!!
Forget phoning, you're probably speaking to India who don't have an answer listed in their script so they give you a C&B response.
Write an "Official Complaint" email or letter asking for a detailed explanation.
Strangely enough both reps i spoke too were british im gonna try them once more tomorrow then if no joy i gonna leave it till our contract expires in 3 months then get my MAC address then we outta there
Good scheme......you can get BE where you are so at 1.36km from the exchange you'll probably achieve a speed >15mb with them.......which is absolutely impossible with Orange.

They may have run out of LLU connections. I read a story somewhere (poss the broadband newsgroup) how his exchange had "sold out" of Be connections
Also sounds like they've been trying to talk to Specialist Provisions about it but they seem to be very busy at the moment due to some delayed order problems going through.
