Hi
All 3 lights on Livebox on, but unable to connect to the web, whats going on?Been working fine for a couple of months.Livebox not been moved/touched cables all present and correct.Internet Explorer cannot display webpage. When I check network diagnostics for xp it says problem might be modem,turn off modem check all cables are plugged in turn back on wait 3 minutes then try again.But still same.Cant even connect to web on wireless laptop (explorer cannot display web page) no problem when i take laptop to work.
Any ideas....

Exactly which 3 lights are on?
And what does the status show in network connections?

I have had my connection down for almost Three weeks, one of which while on holiday so I did not care!
Apparently some huge problem so Mumbai tell me! Engineers on the case, no idea how long to mend

status shows connected. 3 Lights lit are 1st,2nd, 4th (signal,@ and phone).
phone does work but went off while wife on phone to her mum the other night.Switched Livebox off & back on to reset it,after it has gone through its sequence same 3 lights are lit but still wont connect to internet (so cant retrive any emails or log on to google).

Ok so normal lights.

Can you access the livebox pages by browsing to 192.168.1.1?

Not tried that yet (as I can only log on at work this may take some time).Not sure how u do it.

From your home connection :-

Load your Internet Browser

Type into the browser http://192.168.1.1. and hit Enter

Even if you have a not connected message displayed you should be able to display your router config. page.

I'll let Elhana or someone else answer that because I use a Belkin router not a Livebox which seems to be totally different reading the various posts I've seen on here !!

This is a known issue. There is a recorded message on the tech support number. My connection came back this morning after being down about 18 hours. Apparently Orange are working hard to fix it. Rolling Eyes

didn't need to access Live box pages internet connection back on this morning.It has been off a week though.So not done anything to loose connection and not done anything to get it back.Must be Orange at fault again....Wonder how long before it goes off again.
