I've started my joy with Orange 2 months ago. I've ordered new BT line, ordered Orange 8Mb. Livebox arrived, after 2 weeks line was active i could connect, but my download speed was 608kbps. I've started to dig and i found this site. I couldn't make my internet go faster, i've spend hours speaking with unproffesional guys from Customer Service.
One day they've told me that they have too many customers and it is impossible to provide 8Mb to all, that's why they've downgrade to 608kbps.
I was f%#g angry!!! I wanted MAC code, as they've told me i have to close account and pay cancelation fee. I did it, and then they've told me that my account is closed (damn!) and they cannot provide MAC code!!!! This is joke.
Now I still have some mark on my line and i cannot order other broadband.
How long i have to wait to have line cleared?
HI U WILL NEED TO WAIT 10 WORKING DAYS FROM NTHE DATE OF CANCALATION FOR THE MARKER TO COME OF THE LINE YOU WILL THEN BE FREE TO REGISTER WITH ANOTHER PROVIDER.....GUD LUCK HOPE U GET A BETTER CONNECTION
Fill in an online complaint form to the ISPA Here tell them everything.

I've started issue with OFCOM, Orange has 5 working days to send reply to their papers.
Meantime i found out that my cease order had error status, that's why it was stopped. Now they opened another cease order, so hopefully after 10 days my line will be free....
When you call Customer Support always ask if you're speaking with UK branch, because they hase CS branches in all Europe, and other guys know nothing.... telling all the time bulls@@#t and nothing else...
