Day 17 (signed up the 28th August), waiting on activation, livebox, letter, the lot. The only thing I've recieved from Orange is an email in account that was set up using the details that were chosen over the phone at signup, saying I should wait 10 days and stuff (now 7 days since then).
I'm just wondering, is everyone delayed like this who ordered this late in the deal, or am I just one of the lucky few who Orange fouled signup on.
Well is apparently due to a problem getting the activation complete message from BT, which is why some are getting delays. No idea whose fault it actually is though.

I wonder how many days that anyone has waited for Orange to issue the voucher to get the free/discounted laptop from PC World or Currys?
I'm on Day 24 having signed up on 21/07/07.

Finally got my letter today (day 23) I spoke to an exec at head office who was in charge of the offer. He said the way that my infomation was inputed caused the letters not to print. There is a number for high level compliant escalation in thr public domain- someone there reordered the letter and thats the one i got. Message me if you need the number.

It appears to be working OK so far. The man at PC World was a bit aghast at me telling him that I intended eventually to blow away the Windows. "The warranty wont be valid " etc.
The most telling bit of the conversation was when he told me that most people have waited a lot less time but he wouldn't be drawn any further into that conversation.
The Livebox has still not activated despite it being on for 8 days.
I don't hold out too much hope of the VOIP ever working. Still 522 days to go now

You can always remind them a contract works both ways and after a certain amount of time its null and void.
It amazes me how this company get away with breaking their own contract time and time again yet constantly try to remind customers that they owe money to get out of theirs, Oranges reputation is rapidly catching up on them.
