<Livebox Issues? ~ Every time I restart my PC it wont connect automatically

Hello all,
A few days ago i got the PPP server down error, did all the usual stuff, factory reset etc. but nothing worked. Then randomly a day later it started working again! However, since this time everytime i turn my pc (connected wirelessly, another is connected by cable) off I have to put the livebox into pairing mode otherwise i cant connect, this was not a problem previously. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I should probably add that im not using any security (due to problems in the past, and the possibly incorrect assumption that as long as its not in pairing mode people cant connect anyway?!) and that my computer does not show up in the associated deviced box, even when i am connected.
Up until a few weeks ago, everything was fine. Now, everytime my livebox has been turned off for a while, When I turn my PC on (Wired) and try to access the internet it does not connect. I have to go into config page which says ASDL synchronised and the username and password has chane. PPP_ sonething is in the username. When I change this back to my username it connects. I have to do this everytime now.
Also have a laptop (wireless) and I now have to go into pairing mode everytime I turn this on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated ! PHoned the India helpdesk and they told me to leave it all on constantly but I should not have to as everything was fine a few weeks ago ?

A similar problem in one aspect but actually very different from the others in this thread.
Your livebox is factory resetting itself. When you turn it on in one of these situations does it statup normally fast forward light and then exclamation light or does it go to 3 solid lights before going to the exclamation light?
You could try going into Configuration > Update and seeing, if available, if updating the firmware helps.
If it's already up to date you could try the ethernet or USB recovery options which should have been installed on the start menu if you used the software.
Hi Elhana and thanks for your quick reply. My livebox seems to start up as normal but then I have to go into config page and change the username from PPP_name to my correct username ?
I have gone into config. update and it tells me my livebox is up to date ?
What else could be causing this problem ? It just started doing this a few weeks ago ?
It's a problem with the box, most likely the firmware. I'd suggest you run the ethernet or USB recovery if you can. Orange do have a team to help with that if you need but the help files on the CD should explain it.
