Has anyone else been tried to take advantage of the free laptop deal when they are an existing Orange customer to be told its not a problem? PC world did this to me, they then signed me upto the new deal for the free laptop, after 3 weeks I have not received a voucher so today I have phoned Orange who have told me Its for new customers only and if I cancel my account they want £230.
I'm not happy at PC World or Orange but both say its the other's fault. Has anyone managed to close their account with no penalty???

When they updated your account how was it done? Over the phone or online? If over the phone did you speicifically mention the change was for the laptop deal and what was said back?
If it was online or there was no mention of the laptop and just a change of account type then it's down to PC World as they should have clearly stated the offer was for new registrations.
