<Livebox Issues? ~ @ light flashing rapidly/no talk service light on livebox

Hi guys
just joined today - wish i didnt have to but now i am officially a statistic of Orange's appaling bb customer service. Two weeks ago, after 3 months of being lied to/fobbed off, numerous factory resets and a replacement livebox etc etc with regards to my talk service not working it finally got resolved.
So you can imagine how happy i was, bb working fine and able to make free overseas calls.
Then bam from out of the blue this morning on the livebox the @ light was flashing rapidly and the talk service light was not lit.
I switched the box off at the mains, left it 5 mins then switched it back on to no joy
have been on this site most of the day doing research and have found that the rapid flashing @ light means the livebox cannnot detect an ADSL line.
im at loss as to why after 2 weeks of peace and harmony everything has come to a grindng halt.
so a question if you dont mind :
1. could this be caused by BT doing work at the exchange / problem at the exchange - my BT phone line is fine.
Im truly hoping when i get home and switch the box on it fires up into life. As per the helpful advice im going to unplug all phone lines etc and just plug the box and filter into the BT master socket then switch it on.
After the last 3 months of nightmare with Orange i simply havent got the energy to start a new battle with them!! if the @ light is still rapidly flashing tonight - i am going to call Orange and inform them that i wish them to make a note on my account that im giving them 31 days to get my line working (i will email them aswell - not that i dont trust them!!) or i will be calling back for my MAC code and terminating contract for breach of service
is this fair on my behalf?
im off home in about an hour - if anyone has any thoughts on anything that may be affecting the box for me to try tonight it would be greatly appreciated

So i got home switched the box on - all is fine - so a blip on the line i hope!

AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! on my way out this morning i notice the talk light has gone out - powered the box off then on. nothing - tried the talk service and its dead!! switched the box off and headed off to work swearing uncontrollably!!
so lets hope the magical "leave the box off all day" resumes the service but im guessing NOT!!
