Hi, a few months back i posted a thread about my Orange problem. My connection would drop, all the time, and no return for many hours. I phone Orange and they told me it was "probabaly a fault in the line..phone BT".
However, BT tols me there was no fault. And i went back and forth. So i gave up with them both.
However, out of sheer frustration, i dindi't know what to do so i thought i'd buy a new router.....and to my embarrasment it worked fine. And my connection has not dropped ONCE since then, not even for a minute.
I dont know if this will ever come in handy but i thought i should just share my experience. It was quite embarassing after all the calls i made. I'm still switching when my contract is up though.
