I've lgged my dispute with Orange with ISPA; I hope they are more effected than trying to get some sense out of the call centre staff.
I have been put on a package I've never heard of - BBMax. I didn't request it, I don't want it. Orange will not supply be with any details of the package by email ot letter without requesting it in writing. They insist I am tied to a 12 month contract.
After much arguing with Call Centre staff they agreed to waive the 12 month contract. And then informed me in writing that they would be holding me, after I received my MAC code.
They lie and lie, and I am fed up with it. I invoked the Distance selling regulations, which they claim does not apply to them.
I have complained to the ISPA, as a last resort. Otherwise, it'll be court.
I must confess I don't have much faith, who pays for the ISPA?

I found the ISPA very helpful, before MAC codes were compulsary i was having ongoing problems with Orange who had no interest in solving them i tried getting a MAC off of them for 3 weeks (i was 4 years out of contract) usual story ringing everyday asking where my MAC and was having the phone put down on me just to stall it, i contacted the ISPA and within an hour i had an email off of a Orange customer care specialist informing me that the ISPA had passed on my complaint an hour after that my MAC was in my inbox so its worth a try.
