Every couple of weeks, I suddenly find I have wireless connection problems, where the wireless signal from the livebox starts to yo-yo. It is up for 30 seconds then down for a couple of minutes then its up again.
I change the channel on my Livebox, as this is normally a sign of interferrence. It then works perfectly for a couple of weeks, before I hit the same issue again.
A change of channel again and its good for a couple of weeks.
Any body else experiencing this or know of a better fix ?
I know its the wireless thats the problem as my desktop with a wired connection works fine.
I wonder if a neighbour is having the same problems as you (and going thru the same process etc). Also do liveboxes all have the same SSID. If you see one with the same name as yours, you could try changing that.
Unless you use the Talk facility I would probably invest in a router if you can afford it. Decent ones can be picked up for well under £100
