Up until last friday (27th July) my Livebox connected my Palm TX to the internet no problem. I had a major catastrophe (subject of another posting in this forum) which is now partly solved but I cannot get my Palm TX to connect via the Livebox.
I had this problem over a year ago and solved it. Apparently the Palm TX is a wireless b device, so I found a way over asking the Livebox to transmit on wireless b and g. But now I cannot remember what I did and can't find the relevant information that helped me back then.
I'd be very grateful if anyone could halp me out. Many thanks.

UNABLE TO CONNECT WITH WIRELESS:
It's normally the security which causes the problem - change to WEP only.
Are you pressing Button 1 on Livebox to put it into pairing mode?
Press Button 1 on Livebox so the wifi light flashes. This puts livebox into pairing mode and you have 10 minutes to try and connect your wireless device . This only needs to be done once and then you should be able to connect every time .
I had to change security on Livebox to WEP only.
WEP key is case sensitive.
If security is an issue WPA is more secure, try WPA only.
You could also try Changing the channel. One recommended to try is channel 9. Try this first if you can not see the Livebox at all.
Another issue is if there are 2 programmes on the computer that you are trying to connect trying to control the wireless. Turn off the programme that came with the wireless card and use XP to control the connection.
