I have had no broadband service for over 4 weeks now because I have the Link Down - disconnected from the internet problem. I have tried factory resets, changing filter and phone cable and had no luck with that.
I have called the tech support about 8 times in the last 4 weeks to no avail, they keep saying there may be a fault on the line we will check it call back in 24 hours, or call back in 5 days. I called the other day to find the result of the line check but surprise surprise there is no information - they are blaiming BT. They now said that the broadband will be working by the 8th of August - 5 weeks with no broadband. I have had this promised to me 3 times already and everytime it has not worked. They also said they would send me a new filter and cable and it would take 24 to 48 hours but it has now been 7 days and I still have not seen these.
Do I have any right to quit the contract as I have a further 3 months left of the 12 month contract? Or would it cost me further to get out of contract?
I am truly sick of the service and I am on the verge of losing my temper with the technical support team!

Ask for your MAC off them if they remind you your still in contract remind them a contract works both ways and they have broke their own contract by not providing you with the service, they have to give u a MAC by law within 5 working days even if ur still in contract or any monies owed or not.
