It's better to check what your line stats show as they determine the maximum your line could potentially run at.
If you have a livebox open 192.168.1.1 in your browser,
click the link and enter the username and password both as "admin",
go into System Information,
the ADSL section contains the information needed.
What you want is:
upstream and downstream rates,
noise margin,
attenuation,
type (fast or interleaved)
and attainable.
ADSL Max connection.
You were probably getting some errors so interleaving was turned on. This reduces the maximum sync for the line slightly and increase latency a small amount. It's normal so nothing to worry about.
At that downstream you miss out on a 7 meg profile so the best you can get is 6.5meg. You'd need to run a speedtest on the BT speedtester to check your current profile. I'd expect it to normally be around 6 - 6.5 unless you get a load of disconnects.
After you check your profile see what sort of speeds you get from downloads, general speedtests and actual use.
