My connection speed keeps changing, literally by the second. Most of the time it is good but then it will drop very low and then after a few seconds come back, and then go low etc....
Been using the livebox for a few months and the problem has only just started and is intermittent. Any idea if this is a line issue or a problem with my connections?

How are you connecting to the livebox, ethernet or wireless?
If wireless does ethernet work any better?
Do the livebox lights change at all, specifically the @ light?
Sounds more like a broadband connection issue or the livebox but it's hard to be sure exactly where the problem is at this stage. Also if you don't get any disconnections and it's just an intermittant drop in speed then it could be an extremely hard problem to find and fix.
Basically the problem is 99% likely to be Orange's pathetic excuse for a service.
Everyone who moves to a real ISP gets an immediate speed increase and reliable connection, inlcuding myself.
