<Livebox Issues? ~ Livebox PPP down solution! (Requires another router)

Right, I've been having the same "PPP server down" status ever since a couple of hours after I started using Orange broadband, but after reading this forum I can confirm the solution I found here works.
(Proof is I'm posting here at the moment)
Use a 3rd party router (I'm using a Linksys one) that you can set up to match the setting on the Orange settings page, with one notable exception; change the encapsulation to PPPoE instead of PPPoA.
It's working for me, I hope it works for some of you too :)
