ive been on 8mb for about 8 months and 4 weeks ago i started having problems im now running at less than half a mb Orange droped me from 8mb to 2mb without telling me now im lucky to get half a mb. my livebox keeps disconecting me then 2-3 hours later connecting me again it stays on for about 15mins. i need help to end my contract i told them they were in breach of their contract and they did not care this is going on for a month now some1 please help me
Your in the same boat as me. In everyway. I even tryed my old speedtouch and same speed normally connected: 8.1mb. Now.. 600kb/s slow dowloads ect it sucks so much.. 40 mins on the phone this morning.. A LINE TEST! YAY F*CK YOU Orange
Things will never get any better with Orange, only worse.
My advice is to leave Orange ASAP.
Ring them up, get your MAC code and move to a real ISP.
Even if you are in contract they have to give you your MAC.
A month with a rubbish connection like that does indeed breach contract which works both ways so you have the right to leave.
I left last September after 2 weeks disconnection and moved to Idnet.
Prior to leaving Orange kept saying 'there was a line fault, ring back in 48 hours'.
Soon as I moved to Idnet I had a fast, relaiable connection and it's never dropped once since.
I was out of contract when I left.
I f you are still in contract then like I say they still have to give you your MAC code.
As for the money they claim you owe them - they have breached the contract so it becomes void.
I compare it to getting on a bus or in a taxi - no service, no pay.
Contracts work both ways BY LAW.
