I am one of the unfortunate soles that signed up to Orange broadband before the watchdog programme. A decision i am living to regret! Firstly they took money from my bank account when they shouldn't incurring me with a bank charge! Now i have a wireless router that i bought on the advice of a customer services rep that does not work. I have spent many hours on the phone to a call centre in India who's staff seem to be the most unhelpful in the world, telling me that there is nothing that they can do and if it doesn't work they will not replace it or refund me and i will have to buy another one!! They did try to blame it on the set up CD and insisted on sending me another one, when this didn't work they then tried to blame it on my computer software! I am astounded at the level of couldn't care less that Orange are showing to there very unhappy customers. I have managed to get them to send me a return pouch so i can send the broken junk back to them but i have to pay for it and then they will refund me! Who knows whether i will get back my £24.99 for the broken router, but i will not rest until i do! My relationship with Orange will end as soon as my contract period is over, the future is not bright and it certainly isn't Orange!
