If I don't use a livebox can I fool them by rebooting my netgear when they ask me to, or will they know from the MAC address? Please can someone tell me the livebox lights status for a successfully connected authenticated service

To answer my own question, they didn't even get that far just telling me to call in 48 hours. And when I said I'd contact the ISPA, she didn't seem bothered
For faults they don't specifically check by MAC address that you're using the livebox. Usually they'll just check so they can check status and other diagnostic details using it.
Also tech generally have no contact with the ISPA, OFCOM etc so that sort of comment is usually just ignored.
